wow… fantastic visual storytelling
This is how birds work.
I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!
It’s all in the way that girl/boys shirts are made.
Girls shirts have less armpit room then boy’s do and are generally shorter so pulling it off over your head is more practical because by lifting your arms all the way up you make enough room for the sleeves to just slip off.
Boys shirts have more room and are generally longer so it is easy to slip them off over your head.
but if you take a girls shirt off like a boys shirt you will get your arms caught because there isn’t much armpit space.
and if you take a boys shirt off like a girls shit you will still have your head in it when you’ve lifted your arms all the way up because of the shirt’s length.
It has nothing to do with us. It is entirely to do with how our shirts are made. I figured it out for you. YOU’RE WELCOME!
I honestly wish this had been kept in the movie because it’s one of my favorite parts of the book. Sassy Thorin. Though he’s still a sassy little shit.
Tali’Zora Mass Effect cosplay commission - Finished!!
Includes a sensor in the helmet’s LED that makes the light flicker when she speaks. Goodness, what a fun build! All hardware and armor pieces foam fabricated and sealed with latex. The back harness/shoulder pieces I think were the most daunting for me, but once I stopped over-engineering the pattern it came together quite well, I think! So many individual parts to make the many individual parts!
Fabric is from Spoonflower, for those curious.
I really need to go play Mass Effect, don’t I?
He slayed the dragon.
The princess cried for days.
She loved that dragon.

dear fucking tumblr
this is a fucking bumblebee
this is a fucking bee
this is a fucking hornet
this is a fucking wasp
as you can fucking see the longer their legs are and the less fuzzy they are is equivalent to how fucking evil they fucking are
I feel like I just watched a step by step pokemon evolution
OP the last two pictures are the wrong way round, the wasp is the more yellow one, the hornet is the thin one. (tho it could be that they are called different things in your country)
brb drowning myself in the toilet
humanity at its finest
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole
New Home Is Where The Internet Is! Tumblr’s 10-page limit is keeping me from posting the whole thing, so head on over to the webcomic to read the rest (plus a blog post with Paris photos and doodles).
I’m going to Strasbourg tomorrow!!! I’m so excited. We might take a day trip into Germany and the Black Forest 8-D AHHHHHH. Back soon, love and hugs~
-Your friend Tally
Tally is not only an AMAZING comic artist but she’s living the dream! I hope my girls grow up and don’t let the constant yet abstract notion of fear dictate how they live in this world. Way to go Tally!! :D
I love this so much! As someone who’s only really started to travel in the last year, I totally get that initial terror. I’ve been pretty fortunate, and made so many friends all over the world. I went to Boston on a whim this weekend and got to spend an evening with comic people I met mostly through twitter - and everyone was wonderful. Yes, I got terrible food poisoning on the way home, but I also got to have barbecue and Manhattans with people who used to be strangers. Travel! It’s good for you.
how did you guys get into Homestuck?
my younger sister was raving about it, so i gave it a read, and realised the year before i had read a few pages, after seeing some artwork on deviantart (but with very little info that it was called homestuck) but I had been reading it in the wrong order! i had originally started with the newest pages. not the oldest!
but reading it again in the proper way made much more sense so i stuck with it :)
